A Slipstream Weekend is an active, social and educational weekend for adults living with Type 1 diabetes. But that explanation sounds so formal… What it really is… is a weekend jam-packed full of outdoor adventure, engaging workshops, great food and incredible people. It’s a chance to connect with like-minded Type 1s, get out and try something new and learn from each others’ experiences.

Simply put, this is diabetes camp for adults!   Register NOW!

We look forward to a beautiful day of golfing, spending time with friends and colleagues, and helping us raise funds to support our Camp Midicha First Time Camper Grants and additional programming for the Type 1 diabetes community here in Michigan.  Bring a foursome or sign up solo (and we will add you to a group).  Registration is now open!

Interested in family or corporate sponsorships?  We have golf outing sponsorships available once registration opens. 

Not a golfer?  You can still support us by coming to our cocktail hour, awards ceremony, and silent auction!

2024 Diabetes SoluT1ons Family Retreat

It is our pleasure to have you join us at the 2024 Diabetes SoluT1ons Family Retreat. We have been working enthusiastically over the past several months to make this a wonderous weekend. Between all the outdoor activities and fun, we will also be hosting helpful breakout sessions lead by diabetes experts in our community. Our goal is to tailor your Family Retreat experience to fit exactly where you are on your diabetes journey. We offer unique and informative discussions, learning, and advice for families, teens, and young adults. We can’t wait to have you join us and experience the best of Camp Midicha.   Registration will open May 1, 2024.

Type 1 Adult Meet Ups / “Ask The Endo”

Dates: TBD (3-4 times per year)
Type 1 Adult Meet Ups occur throughout Metro Detroit and beyond with the sole purpose of providing a community for those adults with T1D. Informal learning is very important. Throw an endocrinologist in the mix from time to time and who knows what one can learn.
